The Las Vegas grooming market is expanding as the metro area continues to grow, adding tens of thousands of new residents annually. New master-planned communities in the southwest valley and North Las Vegas are creating underserved pockets where groomers can establish loyal client bases. The city's lack of state income tax is a significant financial benefit for independent groomers. Luxury pet grooming tied to the hospitality industry is an emerging niche.
How to Earn More as a Groomer in Las Vegas
Desert heat is your scheduling friend and enemy — many pet owners avoid midday outings, so early morning and evening appointments fill fastest. Offer skin-conditioning treatments as an upsell since the dry climate causes chronic coat and skin issues. Summerlin and Henderson neighborhoods are especially lucrative. No state income tax means your take-home pay goes further here than in many comparable markets.
